Ezio De Felicis

Ezio De Felicis, age 80, passed away October 24, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Maddalena. Loving father of Antonello (Carla) Musu, Nello Anthony DeFelicis, and Liliana (Stan) Guest. Grandfather of Alice and Marco Musu, Felicia, Christina, Mary, and John Guest. Brother of Sergio (Anna Maria) DeFelicis, the late Liliana and the late Nello Anthony. Uncle of Rosalba and Dino. Ezio was born in Roveri, Italy. He came to the United States about 55 years ago after living in Venezuela for just about 3 years. Ezio was an entrepreneur and horseman. He was an owner of the Restaurant “La Dolce Vida” here in Eastpointe. He was a breeder of horses and harness horse racer. He had two horses Scenic Patty and another named after his restaurant La Dolce Vida. Ezio was also a manager at one time for the Ponchatrain Hotel in downtown Detroit. Ezio, a professional singer, had taken part in club tours and appearing over the Metro Detroit Area.. He had a zest for life, enjoyed cooking, and always had a good sense humor.

Visitation Friday from 4:00 until 9:00 PM at the S. K. Schultz Funeral Home, 21705 Gratiot at 8 – Mile Road.

Instate at 9:00 AM Saturday, October 30, 2010 at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 21440 Universal, Eastpointe until time of funeral Mass 9:30 AM. Entombment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.
