About MHHA

MHHA is Minnesota's largest association of aging services professionals. Over the past 40 years, MHHA has earned its reputation for promoting excellence and innovation in older adult services. The members of MHHA represent the complete continuum of care, including care centers, assisted living, senior housing with supportive services, independent senior housing and community-based services.

MHHA members are mission focused, faith- and community-based. They care for over 40,000 older Minnesotans every day. Their commitment also extends to future generations through advocacy for new models and choices in older adult services.

The cornerstone of MHHA's success is service to members. This comes through advocacy, public information, education, products and services relating to the aging services field, and networking opportunities.

Our association and our membership value:

  • Older people and their right to make choices;
  • Employees, volunteers and the informal networks of family, friends and neighbors who support them;
  • Accountability to and investment in our communities;
  • Prudent stewardship of resources; and
  • Integrity, collaboration, innovation and creativity.

MHHA is here to serve our members and the public. We welcome calls from consumers, media representatives, policymakers and anyone with an interest in promoting excellence and innovation in older adult services. Please call or e-mail us:
