New fee

Applicants not licensed in Michigan in 2018 may be charged a $10 fee for a routine criminal history check.

 

Vaccinations

Trainers, please submit vaccination slips as soon as possible. Vaccination slips must be submitted to the MGCB veterinarian prior to entry. All horses must have proof of vaccination for EHV within the last 6 months.

 

Worker’s Compensation Insurance

The Occupational License Application has been updated to include a new question, be sure to use a current application form. Horse owners and trainers will be required to answer question #34 which reads:

Do you have a worker’s compensation insurance policy for your business? __Yes   __No

If yes, what name is the policy under?  _________________________________________________

If no, you must explain why: __________________________________________________________
